Nişantaşı Ortopedi Merkezi.

An orthopaedic centre where Dr. Tahir Öğüt, a foot and ankle surgeon, practises. The pages we could read do not name a hospital for surgery.

The first question to ask any orthopaedic clinic. Dr. Öğüt's pages describe his practice; they do not describe who performs which part of an operation.

In orthopaedics, who operates, in which hospital, and who runs the physiotherapy afterwards matter as much as the procedure's name. This is what the clinic states; ask for it in writing.

In brief

A consulting centre in Beşiktaş. Dr. Tahir Öğüt's own pages say foot and ankle cases make up about 80–90 percent of his work since 2007. They do not say where operations are done or what physiotherapy plan follows. The centre's own website was unavailable (503).

The clinic

The clinic and its approach

Dr. Tahir Öğüt was born in 1967, graduated from Gazi University medicine in 1991, became an orthopaedics specialist at Cerrahpaşa in 1997 and a professor in 2011. His page says he spent six months at Duke University in 2006–07, is a founding member of the Turkish Foot and Ankle Surgery Society, sat on the EFAS board in 2010 and is an active AOFAS member.

The centre's own website, nisantasiortopedi.net, returned a 503 error and could not be read. A third-party directory names different founders for the centre; we did not use it, and the centre's founders are not stated on the pages we read.

Neither page names the hospital where he operates, and neither describes a physiotherapy plan.

Not yet established

What we are still confirming. We update this page as each is settled.

  • nisantasiortopedi.net returned 503 on two attempts, 14 October 2026: not read.
  • Dr. Öğüt writes that he sends hip and knee replacements to colleagues who do them better; the centre's own scope is therefore not general joint replacement.
  • Academic title not checked at YÖK Akademik (403): shown as Dr.
  • Who founded the centre; a third-party directory names different people.
  • Hospital of surgery, physiotherapy, licence class.
  • Address: another listing shows a different street.
