Self-reported by the clinic · read 14 October 2026 · the About page says more than 15,000 patients; the home page says more than 30,000 procedures. They are different units and we cannot reconcile them
A hair clinic run by two founding doctors, Dr. Gökay Bilgin and Dr. Mehmet Erdoğan. It describes a doctor-and-team model with named surgeons for the key steps. Its own pages give the number of patients treated two ways, and its licence certificate is shown as an image whose text we could not read.
The clinic and its approach
Smile Hair Clinic says it was founded in 2018 by Dr. Gökay Bilgin and Dr. Mehmet Erdoğan, both described on its pages as FUE hair transplant specialists. Its Doctors section names five doctors: the two founders, Dr. Firdavs Ahmedov, Dr. Ali Osman Soluk and Dr. M. Reşat Arpacı.
The clinic says operations are "performed by medical doctors and a healthcare team" and that "hairline design and the key surgical steps are performed by named surgeons, not an anonymous rotating team". Another page says each team member involved in the operation "has received medical training". Which step is done by which person is not stated.
The address printed on the contact section is in Ümraniye; the About text says the clinic is in Ataşehir. A newer article on the clinic's site also mentions a move to East Istanbul. We show the printed address and flag the difference.
