Hair restoration in Türkiye
The question that separates hair restoration clinics in Türkiye is not technique but staffing — whether a surgeon performs the extraction and incisions or delegates them to technicians — and it is a question you have to ask directly, because it is rarely volunteered.
Planning hair restoration between 50 and 75
Donor supply is finite and it does not grow back. For a patient in their fifties or sixties this is the governing constraint: the plan has to work not only for the recession you have now but for the recession you will have at seventy-five. A clinic that proposes to use most of the donor area in one session is spending an asset you cannot replace.
Recovery is longer and less photogenic than the marketing suggests. Crusting lasts one to two weeks, transplanted hair sheds before it regrows, and the visible result is judged at twelve months rather than at three. Anyone planning around a wedding or a return to work should be counting in months.
Medical history matters more with age. Anticoagulants, diabetes, cardiac medication and previous scalp surgery all affect suitability, and a clinic that does not ask about them before quoting has told you something important about how it screens. Ask what result is realistic for your degree of loss rather than what is possible in principle — and be more reassured by a clinic that declines you than by one that never declines anyone.
What to establish before you decide
Questions to ask the clinic
- 01Which parts of the procedure will the surgeon perform personally, and which will technicians perform?
- 02What is the surgeon's name and where is their specialty registration held?
- 03How many grafts do you estimate for my case, and on what examination is that estimate based?
- 04What density can I realistically expect, given my donor area?
- 05What is your plan for continued loss over the next ten years?
- 06How many procedures will this clinic carry out on the day I am scheduled?
- 07May I see twelve-month results from patients with a similar pattern and age?
- 08What follow-up is included, at what intervals, and is it included in the price?
Our selection process for hair restoration in Türkiye is still running. We do not recommend a provider we have not verified, so this page carries no list.
Named providers appear here once they have been through the published process — not before, and never in exchange for payment.
