Which hospitals and clinics we cover hold a Turkish health tourism authorisation?

How did we match brand names to the official list?

The Ministry publishes four downloadable lists: hospitals, medical centres, practices and other facilities (polyclinics). Each record has a name, a type, an address and a phone number. We searched all four for the brand and the building's name, then compared the address and district with the address on the provider's own pages.^[1]

A row says Listed only when we found a record whose name and address we could tie to that building. Where the list uses a different official name, for example a university's name for a university-run hospital, the “Name on the list” column shows it. A row says “Not found on 1 Nov 2026” only after we searched the lists by the group or company's official name, by “Özel” plus the district or neighbourhood, and by address and district, and found nothing. Where one of those searches could not be done (for example the provider gives no street address or no readable licence name) or a possible match left us unsure, the row says “To check”.

What do these lists not tell you?

The lists print no certificate number and no issue or expiry date, so we show none. A listing tells you the facility appears on the Ministry's lists on the date we read them; it does not tell you the scope of the certificate, who will treat you, or whether the entity you sign a contract with is the listed one.

Group-owned and university-run hospitals often appear under another official name, and a branch can be listed in a different category (a medical centre rather than a hospital). A building marked Not found or To check may therefore be listed under a name we did not recognise. Ask the provider for the certificate and check the name on it against the lists.^[1]

We have not read the lists of every facility in Türkiye, only those for the providers in our guides. Agencies are not in this table: the Ministry lists intermediary agencies separately.^[5]

What is the TÜSKA requirement?

The International Health Tourism Regulation requires authorised facilities to hold accreditation from TÜSKA, the Türkiye Health Quality and Accreditation Institute, by 31 December 2026 (Art. 6(1)(b) and Provisional Art. 1(3)).^[2][3]

We could not read TÜSKA's register of accredited organisations when we checked (https://tuska.tuseb.gov.tr/akredite-kuruluslar returned a certificate error), so this table has no TÜSKA column. We will add one when the register can be read.
